Things that are bothering me about the Southern Vampire series

I know that these are nit picky, but it's my blog.

1. I-30 does not go through Shreveport. It goes through Texarkana, which is about 75 miles North of Shreveport.

2. In Living Dead in Dallas, they say that Sookie and Bill go to Baton Rouge to fly to Dallas. It would make absolutely no sense for them to do that. From where I imagine Bon Temps to be, it is a further drive to Baton Rouge (4 hours) than it is to drive to Dallas (3 hours). For it to be further to Dallas than Baton Rouge, Bon Temps would have to be on the Eastern side of Monroe and it's not.

I'll add more when they come up in the books. I'm re-listening to them before I get the newest one.
